Apple ได้ทำการออกโฆษณา iPad เวอร์ชั่นใหม่ โดยใช้ชื่อโฆษณานี้ว่า What is iPad?
และโฆษณานี้ก็ได้มีผู้เห็นว่ามันคล้ายกับโฆษณา PDA ของ Apple ที่ออกวางขายเมื่อนานมาแล้วในปี 1993 ซึ่งชื่อว่า Newton และก็มีคอนเซ็ปเดียวกันคือ What is Newton
